Particulate/Solids Removal
Print this page
The CoMag™ process is a particulary effective process for removing solids and precipitated particulates from any water stream almost regardless of the size of the particles.  As described in the section on Bacteria and Virus Removal, CoMag™ effectively removes particles as small as 26 nanometers in size.

As a result, waters affected by Turbidity, TSS and Color can be made crystal clear by CoMag™; thereby, enabling recycle-reuse or the achievement of EPA standards for discharge.

The same is also true of BOD and COD. 60 to 70 percent of these contaminants can also be removed by CoMag™ as in most cases these percentages represent the colloidal composition of these contaminants.
